Why bother with professional copywriting when you can easily DIY it?
Well..I once cut my own hair.
Instead of short but invisible layers, I achieved a Catholic monk gone wild kind of aesthetic. I tried very hard to make it work but ended up paying double to get my craftsmanship fixed by a hairdresser.
The good thing is I wasn’t trying to sell anything (though, let’s be real, I could’ve probably sold some mugshots on OnlyFans — there are all kinds of weirdos out there).
Moral of the story?
Writing your own copy might not hurt your image like it put a dent (literally) in mine, BUT it also might not get you the results you’re after.
So why risk it?
Hire someone who’s successfully done it before (and please never ask me for a haircut).
